This 2023. Acrylic on canvas, 50 x 52"
All stocked up on paints.
And no place to go.
Off the Facebook and Instagram because who do I want to burden with my me?
So I place here paintings made recently and up until yesterday, to finish with the breakdown of an 8 foot canvas to make room for refinishing the floors at the Art Association. There I dutifully practice confinement with peanut butter, jelly and old vinegar lentils. Good news! Yesterday afternoon I danced alone in its public space. Which means, I am freeing, and/or “South Bend Suarez can still make my insides chuggle like a 14 year old openness to everything. You try separateness for an adult life and we’ll meet up in the ether with agonizing selfhood and copious invisible clouds of strontium-90.
Thanks for the visit. Don’t forget to dance. Grease them hip joints with rock and roll!
