The problem with doing this is that we are constantly trying to fill a void with material objects and we buy and buy and bring more and more objects into our space, which then creates more responsibilities, more stress, more distractions and this takes up time, money and we feel more and more dissatisfied, but there are things that we can buy with our money to increase our happiness.

Time is the best good we can buy. But how can I buy more time? as humans we all have the same hours during the day and sometimes we want to do so much that we don't have time for everything we want to do and one way to buy time is by hiring people to help us with activities that take away this resource and that we can allocate it to do something else.

The problem with time and money is that most of us exchange our time for money and the more money we want, the more we have to work to generate it and that takes away this precious resource to spend with our loved ones, to spend time in nature, doing something we like to do or simply taking care of our health.

Even contributing, because when we have time, we can dedicate it to a certain cause like taking care of animals or taking care of children or simply having a project that impacts the lives of others. If taking care of your children takes up a lot of time, you can hire a babysitter and if you don't like to cook you can hire a cook or go out to eat.

The idea here is that you try to use that money to get your time back so that you can dedicate your time to things that you find most valuable, such as improving our relationships, exercising and taking care of our health, traveling, contributing or simply spending time in The nature and the problem with time is that most of us make money trading our time.

Another thing we can spend our money on is eliminating negative experiences, I had already said in another post that life is too short to do things we don't enjoy and not all of us are the same, there are people who like to do certain things and others who don't. For example, if you don't like to iron, you can hire someone to iron for you, I don't like to iron, because when I do it, it takes me a long time and the truth is that they don't look very good on me. .

The idea is that we can very well identify those activities that we do not enjoy doing on a daily basis and that we find a person who enjoys doing this or who is willing to exchange their time for money. I believe that spending our money in this way it will make us feel happier in the short and long term instead of buying an object. when we have more time to do what we like, in general they will do things that fill our souls and that in one way or another will contribute to our physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Another thing that we can do with our time and money to be happier is to spend it on others, we can make donations, inviting a good friend to dinner or even giving gifts, when we donate our money in some way or another it makes us feel that we are doing good and that fulfills us more than having a new object at home for a day or two.

When we invite someone to dinner or maybe we organize a party at our house for our friends, we create memories and connect more with people and that, because also being in contact with people helps us feel good and about gifts, the best It is giving something that the other person needs, if that person does not need that gift, it will be something that will end up in the trash.

For these reasons, for me, traveling is one of the best ways to spend my money, because the happiness that traveling gives me is not at all comparable to something material, I think we have to make a change of consciousness and stop thinking that rich people is the one with the most money, I believe that rich people are the ones who have the most time so that they can create a richer life, rich in relationships, rich in activities that help us improve our quality of life and that way we can be more happy that at the end of the day because that's what life is about
