Rice pudding is a traditional sweet from my beautiful country, Venezuela. And it is that many Venezuelans will feel identified with saying that the aroma of rice pudding lights up anyone's afternoon. And today I will share this great recipe for you to enjoy and identify with that wonderful phrase.

Step by step explanation
Ingredients:
1 cup of rice
2 cups of water
4 cups of milk
Cinnamon sticks
Cinnamon powder
2 cups of sugar
Lemon peel pieces.
Preparation:
The first thing we will do is boil the rice together with the two cups of water.
When the rice is a little white and the water is drying, add the milk, with a cinnamon stick, the sugar and the lemon peels. And let everything cook over medium-low heat.
Once everything thickens and the rice is fully cooked, keep in mind that you should continue stirring so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pot.
When you're ready, put out the fire. And let cool to room temperature.
Pour a little cinnamon powder on top and then put it in the fridge to eat cold.
We give you the idea to serve it in individual glasses and decorate with the same cinnamon sticks or mint leaves. You can also store it in a large container and then serve it.
