„Last Christmas“ or are you ready for Christmas- Exclusive on Steem

 

Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,

It is the only 1,5 week is left till New Year and exactly 4 days till my annual leave. Next few days I will be having long working days and I do not know if will be able to do my annual Christmas post. Therefore, I decided to produce it today.

“Last Christmas”

For me, personally, everything with Christmas preparation is associated with my favorite song “Last Christmas” by pop group “Wham”. Once, I hear it in radio or outside that means Christmas started. Usually we can hear it everywhere and for the whole December, for me that is the most exciting time and I wish that it never ends.

That is why I wanted to share with you my watercolor painting that I have done last Christmas, after having my ear-worm.

As to my hubby @myskye he likes the song but for him it is enough to listen it once in December

The song came out in 1984, that was the golden 80’s. I love everything in 80’s music, style, fitness in form of aerobic, that was in all TV channels.

As to the video of “Last Christmas” song, they had everything to become a Hit, such as beautiful atmosphere of snowy Switzerland. Everything is white and snowing, the group of young people who want to celebrate Christmas and of course a sad Love story with beautiful music.

 

 

The Christmas 2020

 

This time Christmas is very different. First of all, I noticed that I have not heard “Last Christmas” so often as in previous years. Due to restriction of gathering that the countries announce to reduce the spread of virus but the same time travel ban, we decided not to go to Germany this Christmas. That means we celebrate Christmas up in Scotland, therefore, we had to set up our Christmas tree too.

 

 

At least it is a highlight for me, another spirit of Christmas. We use the artificial tree. The reason is very simple, I hate the feeling that the young trees are specially cut for the holidays and will be thrown away in couple of weeks. As a child I read a fairy tale about “Fir-tree” that was written by my favourite author Hans-Christian Anderson. If anyone is interested I am attaching the link:
