Fighting Abuse on Steem: PLAGIARISM and DECEPTION case: @kaafianmol

Hi @blazinga, as you might have seen the post had majority of the upvote from @tipu $35 and from @bot-api $9,66. Those two are like bidvote, that means people pay to pay the votes. The user paid 11SBD and for another 2,84 SBD. SO he paid himself to buy votes, which is noting illegal. There are such services existing and people who want to boost their post they will do it.

Okay, would it be okay to downvote posts you think shouldn't have that much votes or is that frowned upon? I was thinking (I'm planning on powering up some STEEM later once I've learned more about this platform) that if such activity is downvoted maybe they wouldn't buy as big votes for such low effort drawings? Or is that not recommended.

Thank you for your reply,

Blay

You can downvote anyone where you think that it has not deserved but there are many of such services and many user buying votes for their posts, some of them have sometimes only one photo or just few sentences

or blog of this user.

Therefore, it is like sand on a beach. I would advise to build up your SP and to get more engaged in activities of communities to grow your SP

Okay hmm, do you recommend buying votes? Are they profitable?
