I think that the main reason is that there's little consequence when people get caught. It's too easy to withdraw the funds, create a new account and start again.

That's kind of sad for the hacked accounts and bad for this platform. If these attacks happen too frequently people leave and what's left are scammers. I hope there will be a solution.
