Who is @acydio? Did you know that he is being abused on our beloved platform.

in hive-185836 •  3 years ago

He has changed his strategy

Yes, you may have received a surprising upvote from him in recent days. Before changing his strategy, he only voted 100% on plagiarism posts so he could milk our reward pool.

Why is he changing his upvote pattern?
This is to avoid downvote from us and @steemcurator01
Because we do not want to give a downvote to posts that are of good quality or to other leaders of Local Community in Steemit

Let's go back a bit to the time I wrote a post about @acydio

Many people know the @acidyo / OCD Community and the OCD Manual Curation before the split came with the Hive community

Before the split with Hive, @acidyo was one who hit hard on users who abused Steem and with his OCD Curation trail he had great power to do downvote
Today he does the opposite and milks our rewards pool to his own advantage by giving votes to the @keithkeithson account

I want you to read my entire previous post so you understand why I have reviewed @acydio in the past for abuse
https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@xpilar/many-people-know-the-acidyo-ocd-community-and-the-ocd-manual-curation-before-the-split-came-with-the-hive-community

After I wrote that post and reported him to @steemcurator01 his ability to milk our rewards pool is limited

He does not have his own Steem Power, but has a delegate from @arhag of 213K. It's 1 year ago @acydio paid dividend to @arhag

@arhag has not been active on steem for the last 4 years and it seems like he is completely gone
This means that @acydio uses the 213K for their own profits without paying dividends to @arhag

It's great that @acydio is now voting on many others' posts, 103 accounts in the last 7 days. But he uses a random uvote and most people get 10% upvote, some also get 100% upvote which he probably gives manual upvote to.

Why does he do that?
Precisely because I will not be able to downvote his upvote to answer him on downvote on my posts
Yes, he avenges himself as best he can by giving me 100% downvote on all my posts and comments that have been upvote

He's here just to make a profit and buy Hive, he's one of those people who wants Steemit to die.
We can not accept such behavior on Steem.

When it is not possible to stop his delegate from @arhag
there's only one option I would rather not use.

It is to downvote all his votes to you.

Well maybe that's exactly what he wants to see me do and fall into his trap and become unpopular with all of you.

But to do so, I want you who have received an upvote from @acydio and others to give me your permission to remove his upvote

The behavior of @acydio must end now

Acid joined in on my hive post about bullying. I outline some of the behaviour i experienced in the early days and he responded.

https://hive.blog/hive-123046/@ultravioletmag/online-bullying#comments

Hi @ultravioletmag

Thanks for the information
I've read it and all the comments there now
It supports what I have previously seen of his behavior.
Unfortunately, many are afraid of his power and do not dare to say anything about him

In 2017 i was a newbie but i think honestly because I was a girl and in a huge minority back then i was invited into that group. There was a user called kyle who was pretty kind and did upvote a few posts, really got me started and i never saw him say too much that was bad, the rest of them were AWFUL. The main ones I remember M31, ,TARAZKP, ACID and others i really need to try and remember. They were just flat out bullies. They would go into the main chat area and be nice to the newbies then in the chat two and other private groups laugh about their posts and decide who to flag and take down. They would threaten newbies all the time and have them living in constant fear. They took a couple down to rep 1 for no reason than they didn't like them. They made up excuses of course by scouring for a photo they used off the internet or something. They had no interest at all in helping anyone new and just upvoted one another in a circle. Had I wanted to have zero morals i could have joined in and been HUGE on hive/ steemit no doubt. Speaking out about it puts me in a vulnerable place but at this point sod it,, these bullies had a platform too long You can see he does not even deny it in those posts and just went and flagged my posts down and used the excuse 'over rewarded'. Thats what they do find some kind of 'reason' they can just do it/ I truly believe they just don't want anyone earning good money there and potentially threatening their circle.

Hi @ultravioletmag

That you stand up and tell about this, not many others dare to do. Unfortunately, there are too many who are afraid of downvote.
When that gang was on Steem with their power, there were many who got downvote, including me
I have never been able to look at injustice without speaking out and trying to help others.

Yes I actually ashamedly did keep quiet for a long time and didn’t publish it publicly because of the potential backlash. But when I saw it happening again on hive to so many hard working creatives. I guess I just have too much Aquarius in me to not speak out about my experience. I hoped it might help others feel more confident to speak out too. So many feel silenced out of bullying and threats.

I am not going to lie, that was me back in 2017. i didn't speak out because of that very reason. A few years later, less F's it came back to my attention because on hive they have started downvoting posts they deem 'not worthy' . Except none from that original chat group ever get down voted despite getting multiple high payouts on very average posts. I remembered this behaviour and the similar faces doing it. I just felt I had to speak out.

Don’t get me wrong steem isn’t perfect but then on hive your just dictated to by these people who are more abusive and personal. It’s like out of the frying pan into the fire 🔥🤣

Dear @xpilar

You know that I do respect you a lot and we've known each other for quite sometime already. I truly value what you do for your community and I recognize value you bring to STEEM blockchain.

However, I must share with you my concerns as I believe that your approach towards @acidyo need to have some limits. And it shouldn't turn into private conflict in which you are coming from position of power.

There must be some boundaries.

And if @acidyo indeed "milked" steem by upvoting his own short posts published on other accounts (Which he also managed) - then I do understand that it should be considered an abuse. I do not have doubts about it.

However, it is impotant to understand that trying to reduce his right to enjoy curation rewards while he is upvoting posts published by other Steemit content creators shall not take place. This forceful limitations shall not be considered. Let's not open those doors. Let's continue our journey towards dream of decentralization.

So as far as @acidyo is using his stake (even if it's delegated by someone who isn't active any more) then his curation rewards shall be respected.

ps.
It is really difficult for me to write that comment, since my work and our PH community is being targeted by @acidyo on Hive.

This is my honest feedback. Please take a few minutes to think about it, even if you disagree with me.

Have a great sunday,
Yours, Piotr

Hi, @xpilar.

First afall, I know your a very good whale(: ...You supported some of my posts for recommenting you and voting for you for something on steem awards, I really appreciate all that.

So I have a lot of respect for you, although I am not that active in Steem.

@acidyo issue. THere have been his downvote issue in HIVE too, where he has problem with a community he accuses for vote selling... but we should not get angry with him and punish accounts he upvoted on.

Because, see that's dragging us writters on the issue you have with that person, or whale whatever he/she is.(although yeah, he resembles a shark to all of us)

That's my opinion, let's purge our anger and think of a amiable, peaceful solution without a downvote war and all!!

Right...that's it .

Greetings, dear @xpilar.

I share the position of @crypto.piotr.

In the past, "flag wars" were infamously popular on Steemit. I don't think anyone benefited from these wars.
On the contrary, there were many cases of good content creators who had to leave the platform and this is totally unfortunate.

We know who @acidyo is, a nefarious user who, hiding behind a curation trail, managed to milk steemit for years and continues to do so today.

To start a downvote war would be to start a conflict that we would not know when it would end and where many would-be harmed and very few would be the true positive results.

Preferably it would be that you continue to use all your voting power in the way you have been doing so far. Supporting small and large users and contributing enormously to the growth of Steemit.

Anyone who breaks the rules of the statement should be punished. You have made a very good post. I agree with you.

I think @arhag was die

He is not dead. He is a good person and he doesn't have any interest in Steemit or Hive. He is an active developer of EOS and a very busy person. Recently I have talked with him.

Why don't you ask him to delegate, this is very interesting for us to discuss 😝

Yeah, I did it for our community. If our community meets the requirements then probably we might receive delegation but still, it's uncertain. He said he will review our community within the next few weeks.

let's see what happens next. Hard to believe he abandoned that much SP in steemit and hive.

There are a lot of people who have abandoned😅 one of the main causes of their time is very in demand.

But why don't they just delegate. Rich people are really weird 🥴

It's hard to say, they always do what they think is good,

It is really frustating to see this kind of behaviour from a person like him. he is not the same person he used to be before.

I support you

Abuse? 😎

Paneuk that lagoe komentar jih

Hek that tabaca payang lom. Jadi intinya jih biok sagai bahasan abuse nyan ken😎😎

Sikap yang seperti ini tidak bisa dibiarkan, kita semua harus mendukung sikap @xpilar untuk membasmi @acydio.

Jangan sampai gara-gara setitik nila rusak susu Sebelanga ( pribahasa Indonesia ).

Kami mendukung sepenuhnya aksi dari suhu @xpilar

@xpilar I really agree with you, like @acydio is no longer worthy of being on this steemit platform, early before Hive he was a good person here, but when the HIVE Platform was there he switched there and here he started to rebel, he taking a chance in the tightness he uses steem to buy Hive in a bad way, like you said he votes 100% on the @keithkeithson account like it's the account he has, instead it's someone else's account,

I hope that Team Steemit can make this decision by eliminating the delegation he has, because the one who delegated Sp to him is like he is no longer there, namely @arhag and @acydio taking advantage of that for himself, he starts farming, which we are afraid of. is he making the trolle here ,,

@steemcurator01 Please take this action

No back in Steem days I was in steemit chat 2 ( a private room) and the lot of them would laugh at newbies, threaten them to flag them to rep one ( and followed through a few times) if they disagreed on anything, and just generally laugh about them all and share their posts in private etc. They just upvoted each other and didn’t give a shit about newbies only to terrorise them and make fun of them. You’ll see the link below he doesn’t even deny it. I don’t know what’s happened here but this was a bully plain and simple.

Hi @xpilar .. excellent post..

Hola / Hi @xpilar
My very particular opinion on the post about the case of @acydio/ Mi opinión muy particular sobre el post acerca del caso de @acydio
My Post

You have many good points @mlrequena78

Page doesn’t exist now.

great!

Uff, I had no idea. I have reviewed all the arguments and posts before resteeming. I'm not a powerful or renown user on either Steemit or Hive but I like things are done correctly. In the end moral outweighs money everywhere, always.

The action you took was very correct. Hopefully they will support your efforts to solve it.

Hahaha fine that he finally get hit by someone with more power than his acoounts and buddies have.
Yes I also know this guy and I can tell you he´s not my friend, and that doubles my fun I had when reading this article, he finally found his master he destroyed su much good accounts here on steemit, and claims he is on the right pass and the lone blogger not. Congratulation for that strike we don´t need this kind of guy´s here should they stay in HIVE here nobody needs them.

@xpilar , i believe you and majority of the top dogs are the bad guys, i joined this platform since 2018, i dare say even before you, i benefited alot from @acidyo and his project, nowadays all you guys does is upvote each other, you use less that 10% of your earnings for contest, i think that is hypocracy, many people left steemit because of the low turn out, i believe for the sake of minnows joining the community, you need to make well with @acidyo ,this community need him, not some guys who are only after their pockets

You are still falling into the trap of continuing to bully in your comments

There are newbies on this platform. I believe that one of the principles of a platform like steemit is to promote dignity and respect, while at the same creating an environment where everyone wins. Being abusive or use of foul words (even if you did not commit the crime you may have been accused of), isn't appropriate, in my estimation. If your actions have been misunderstood, you can raise it with the admin so that everything will be sorted out. However, if you have violated the ethics of this platform and someone raised it, all you need to do is to desist and apologise. Please, let everyone engage with this platform in a manner that reflects the principles of Steem. Let's steem with dignity and respect. Gratias.

You do realize the witnesses running this chain and that this dickhead @xpilar voted for stole 40k steem from me, right? Yet this fuckwid has the nerves to talk to me about morals after I wasted 4 years of my life trying my best to make this platform shine only to have them steal my stake. This is nothing but a joke centralized piece of shit platform where there's no genuine curation and vote selling and trading is the only thing that happens lead by a centralized Chinese party. You all can eat a bunch of horseshit for choosing this and staying staked here when there's decentralized options out there utilizing blockchain tech to the fullest.
