If I were a poet, but I would certainly write poetry under the impression of the places where I happen to visit. But since I don't write poetry at all, but I am an artist, the task lies with me to depict what I see.
I took these pictures in that lovely village where we have a summer cottage. Then the lilacs had not yet faded and the greens were much juicier and brighter than they are now. And an eared owl settled on a pine tree and fed its little chicks with mice.
These are very busy working days, but I still hope that one day I will get to paints and brushes to capture on paper that unique joyful mood that happens at the beginning of summer. Let it not be in words, like poets, but with the help of an image.
Если бы я был поэт, но наверняка писал бы стихи под впечатлением тех мест, где мне доводится бывать. Но так как я совсем не пишу стихов, а являюсь художником, то на мне лежит задача изображать то, что я вижу.
Эти снимки я сделал в той милой деревне, где у нас расположен дачный участок. Тогда ещё не отцвела сирень и зелень была гораздо сочнее и ярче, чем сейчас. А ещё поселившаяся на сосне ушастая сова кормила своих маленьких птенцов мышами.
Сейчас очень насыщенные трудовые дни, но я всё же надеюсь, что однажды доберусь ло красок и кистей, чтобы на бумаге запечатлеть то неповторимое радостное настроение, которое бывает в начале лета. Пусть не в словах, как поэты, но с помощью изображения.
