Recently, I thought that I pay too little attention to the image of my hometown. And then I had the idea to create a cycle of landscape watercolor works, where there would be views of streets, parks, and some remarkable buildings. This work with a view of the train station was the first to appear. Inexpensive and not very thick paper was used in this watercolor, and a mixed technique using whitewash was also used.
Недавно я подумал, что слишком мало уделяю внимания изображению своего родного города. И тогда у меня появилась идея создать цикл пейзажных акварельных работ, где были бы виды улиц, парков, каких-то примечательных зданий. Первой появилась вот эта работа с видом вокзала. В данной акварели использовалась недорогая и не очень плотная бумага, также применялась смешанная техника с использованием белил.

Funny how we can be surrounded by so much inspiration on our doorstep, but seldom seem to look to it. We have a lot of natural beauty here where I live and yet I so seldom create art from what I see in front of me, and I should... because it is lovely!
