Are we going or are we going back?

A path of certainties
moves through the water
like heavy asphalt
that poisons the right bank.
Life doesn't wait, it doesn't stop,
just keep going,
Significant or not.
Only the rebellious green
heartbeat
shows traces of light
in mirror reflections.
Running towards nothing,
hope is frustrated
with reason and ties itself
to the blue of the sky,
repeats it, deploys it
and attracts him as if to illuminate
an unborn tomorrow.
A river that goes, a sky that returns,
elemental force
that attract and repel each other,
leaving a trail of fear.
Uncertainty shines through
on the dark promontory
from the end of the road.
Are we going or staying?
Do we go with the flow of destiny
or are we clinging to a fast cloud?
The river goes away, the sky returns
and in the middle,
a winding limbo is fogging
along with the senses, it envelops them
confusing the sky with the river...
An illusion:
Are we coming or going?
Everything changes when we change.
Gone are the days without joy,
where the blackbirds
take control of the parks
without the kids laughing.
Night became day,
the same one that doesn't sleep or breathe
and shut himself away from life,
by a virus, kidnapped.
And meanwhile, eternity
moves forward safely and quietly
like a dark river
that doesn't stop, just keeps going,
between the tunnels and the lights that shine
looking for the way back.
