Hello book worms, Today I’m going to review an interesting drama according to the today’s challenge. Actually to write this drama review I must run back to 2012, the year which I wrote my Ordinary level examination at the age of 15. Since then I didn’t even had my Anthology to read it. But as it has a literature value I need to share the themes of the drama with you.

This is a real life morality play. The author is anonymous. The characters in the play describe the real society and the feelings of people. The main character is every man who represents the whole human beings in the world.
Then there are characters like god, death, friendship, good deeds, goods, beauty, strength, messenger, wisdom and so on which represent all human qualities. The messenger is the person who brings messages from the death. When death asked everyman to come he refused it. After sending several messages by the death now it is the time for everyman to go to death. But everyman has a chance of taking one companion with him. The whole drama represents the way how everyman requests his closest companions to join him to go to death. Friendship, beauty, wisdom, doctor and so on refused to join him. Finally good deeds agreed to join everyman to go to death.

The physical things and bonds that we love a lot will not accompany us to go to death. Only the good and bad things will come with us carrying their impacts on us. The most lovable things like beauty, relationships, friends, health will not be there with our soul after death. From this drama it says human beings to collect things that can help our soul after death with positive impacts. We have to increase and collect good deeds in us. Then only the god can help our soul.

I think this drama carries a valuable message for us to improve our good qualities. Thank you so much for reading my post and special thanks to @event-horizon for having this contest.
