Hi! I’m a new user (still trying to find time for a proper post). The very first thing I find that feels like it needs to change is a way to cut down on seeing communities and posts in languages I don’t speak. Seeing them clutter my feed is worse than advertising, since I can’t engage or enjoy it while ads at least have the potential to introduce me to something I’m interested in. I would go so far as to believe the default is to only show posts in your set language, with a simple way to add other languages, so as to maximize people’s ability to join and engage communities from the start instead of the current set up that adds needless friction to the platform that makes it harder for people to engage and stay engaged.
