Every year, before the year comes to an end, that is on the 31st of December normally refers to as cross over night, most religious bodies especially Christians on the 31st night of December go to church to pray to good bye the previous year and also usher themselves into the new year. Praying into the new year for peace and a good and fruitful year. The youth of my church today went to the church to tidy up the place for this important night of cross over. As a youth in my church, my presence was also needed.
I woke up at around 5:30am and had my morning devotion, thanking God for protecting me through out the night. I always say that sharing my daily activities with you guys is a privilege and must not be taken lightly because not everyone has the opportunity to see the sun rise to brighten their day. I departed to the church premises after doing all my chores.
My church is still under construction, so there was a lot of work to do today, it is a two storey building. We have to move some woods and metals from the first floor and pack them very well on the second floor to create enough space for members to sit. The youth didn't turn out as expected so there was a lot of work to be done.
After packing the woods and metals, we started with the sweeping session. The place was dusty and very dirty with said, this is because it is still under construction. Everyone worked hard and in no time, we were able to clean the entire place.
Congrat to everyone for coming to support the work of God, the place is now set for the cross over night. By the grace of God every member on this platform shall cross this year in to the next year in Jesus' name 🙏.
