It's @cosai99 with the first post of the year as far I am concerned. It has been months since I last posted in this noble community. Today, I bring you one of the delicacies you can enjoy on these hot, searing afternoons we now endure, and also to those who are still suffering the brute of the force of the harmattan. a cold drink to enjoy in the hot blazing afternoon, dry with low humidity. I present the famous and popular ICED TEA, made easy.

Origin and Brief Introduction
Iced Tea is one of the delicacies that sprung up in the United State of America in the 1800s, specifically 1860 usually served as a novelty in hotels and became popular and widespread in 1871, as seen in a cookbook by Mary Ann Byson Mason, the oldest ever record of iced tea. The popularity of iced became of high regard after it was introduced in a World's Fair in St. Loius by Richard Blechynden, an American merchant. Because of the type of temperature, it is served at, it is usually enjoyed in hot weather.

Ingredients for Iced Tea
This usually takes 10 minutes to prepare and cool. It can be taken as an alcohol-free drink at parties. The ingredients used are;
- 6 Tea Bags
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 2 lemons, 1 juiced and 1 sliced.
- 1 orange, sliced
- Ice cubes
Preparation
Put tea bags, sugar, honey and 1.5 litres of water in a large jar. Leave to infuse for 10 minutes and remove the tea bags to discard. Chill until ready to serve.
Pour to add to the lemon juice, lemon slices, and orange slices and stir. Add ice and stir properly.
Serve into drinking glasses.
Closing Remarks
This is one of the beverages mostly enjoyed in the afternoon, after working in the heat of the day for so long to quench your thirst. Due to the presence of the tea bags, it has this relaxing feeling to it that helps calm all your nerves.
