Good day to all guys, my name is @dadylumber and I hope and believe everyone is faring well with life as I’m. Actually, I was very lucky to be convinced by @abdulkahargunu and @zology69 to join steemit, why because most of my colleagues in our locality are found of being fraudulent when it comes to websites that related to money. My biggest mistake was about not joining steem earlier as a result of fear of online fraud and I can still remember that @abdulkahargunu was trying to explain how steam operates about 6 months ago but I was giving excuses to it just to escape joining it. It was recently that @zoology69 who made me understand that steam is just like an interactive social media and he has used it as a stepping stone to afford his educational materials as well learning new things from others, and that was the time I got convinced to join steem and I'm not going to regret the step that I took. Thanks to them for making me understanding that steem is a legit site that you can express your knowledge to the world as well as learning variety of different things all together from other people across the globe.

MY EXPERIENCE IN STEEM

I know many people are venturing into some acts to get instant money but am sorry to tell you that steem does not provide quick money to their new users but as much as you stay with it, you will love to know that steem is a worthy place to invest your time in posting productive staffs that can make you gain more than you think off. Mostly, word of encouragement/correction from the comments I received whenever I post tells me that, there people who uses their precious time to review what I have posted and it motivate me to bring the best version out of myself and everyone can do it. One of the most important thing I have learnt here is to read more and give constructive comments to others post, when you are found of being reading contents from others steem accounts am very sure you will equip yourself with great knowledge that can be useful in your daily activities be it educative, motivational, health and others, and commenting on others post might serves as a feedback to the poster and it can earns you with some tokens.

WHAT STEEM HAS IMPACTED ME

Steem has shown me that I can be a philanthropist one day to the less privilege people and we all understand that, African continent has people who cannot afford common daily basic needs as a results of lack of stable jobs and with through steem promotional activities we can impact others by either donating valuable items to them or having fun with them to make their day beautiful. There are genius graduates from this country who have completed tertiary schools without being employed and I’m one of them, but steem has directed me that, the knowledge that I have acquired can be used to achieve my daily living through posting educational staffs and being an active member on the blockchain. Although, the other graduates who will not be able to make good use of their knowledge might either lose it or even involves themselves in social vices(sorry to say that but have some experience).

LESSONS TO NEWBIES

What I will like my colleague users to do is to involve themselves in writing creative posts and commenting free from plagiarism during contest, task and promotional activities to gain more tokens to their accounts and make sure they are active on the platform, joining various communities to make this platform very interactive and make sure they don’t expose their keys to any third party sites and as well as voting others posts. Another very important thing to we the users is to keep on powering up to stabilize our SBD in the cryptocurrency market and delegating some of our steem powers to the steem communities to make them run smoothly and effectively. And lastly, I will like my colleagues users to introduce steem to other people who are not in it to also join and make this community larger and more friendly.
