THE DIARY GAME || 15TH SEPTEMBER, 2022 || MY DAY AT SCHOOL

Hello everyone, I greet you all. I hope you are all doing well by his grace? Today is another wonderful day again. As usual, I woke up early in the morning at exactly 6:00 am and started my house chores. I wanted to get to school early so I quickly did my house chores fast and took my bath. I dressed up after bathing and went to the station to pick a car to school. When I got to the station, I went to Beposo station where we take our car and picked a taxi to school. I got to the school at 8:00 am and went into the classroom to mark the pupils attendance register. When I finished with the register, I was called my headteacher to come to the office for staff meeting.

When I got to the office meeting place, all the teachers were present waiting for the meeting to commence. It seems all the teachers was aware of the meeting. I went to the back and took my seat because I don't like sitting in front during meetings. A teacher was choose to pray before we start the meeting. After the prayers, the headteacher welcomed us and called on the secretary to read the previous meetings. The Brief us about the agenda of the meeting. This is our first staff meeting when school resumed. The headteacher welcomed us once again and started by discussing with us about our agenda for the term.

 IN THE MEETING

We discussed about how to improve the pupils reading skills, lateness to school and the pupils discipline. The meeting lasted for about one hour thirty minutes ( 1:30 ).
Each and everyone of the teachers came out with their own ideas of the topics. All the suggestions presented by the teachers were all accepted by the head teacher. All the suggestions were genuine and understandable.

TEACHERS COMING OUT FROM THE MEETING ROOM

We closed the meeting with prayers and dispatched to our classrooms. Because this happened to be the first week, the academic work is not all that effective. The children don't normally come to school in the first week when school resumes. You can never get them in their numbers in the first week.
Because of their numbers in every first week of school, the academic work don't normally being
effective. We normally used the first week to clean the school and it environment.

THE CHILDREN PLAYING IN THE COMPOUND

The children were playing around in the school compound. They were playing all sorts of games like football, Amor, hide and seek, skipping and many other outdoor games. I went and sat close to where the children were playing and watched the games. At 1:40 pm, the headteacher told us to close. I went into my classroom and took my bag and came home. That was my diary for today. Thank you all for your support.
