Poem- The Perfect One!

When God finds the perfect one. As I stand under this moon I reminisce on the first day we met. It was beneath the mystic moon of the month of September. It's the day I first felt your soft hands and my earbuds played a bit of your decent voice to my eardrums. It's a day I set a glance on your acute face. I still remember how you made me feel sweetie palms and butterflies in my stomach.

I forgot your name the very second you said it because I was succumbing to your beaming smile. They say what you're chasing is also chasing you but little did I know that the love of my life or is just in my prayers was right there. Now that I found you I believe that prayers get answered when God finds the perfect one because you are my answered prayer.

When God made you He saw that I was an incomplete puzzle and made your perfect piece to complete me. Sometimes I call you darling not because you're just a simple thing but because you are loved. When I call you baby is not because you're too young it's because you deserve to be cared for more like a baby. I love every time you look into my eyes and say "I love you and I'm blessed to have you". I want you to know that my love belongs to you.

I want to be your anchor when things go to waste. I know you've had past and so did I. I see a bright future any time you look into my eyes. I want to hold your hands as we walk through the streets. When I wrap my arms around you as I watch you fall into your peaceful sleep. I want to be the source of your genuine smile. Your words change the whole definition of love because despite what you believe, you're the fresh glamorous air my soul yells to breathe.
