Overcoming Your Fears

Today i read about something that i would like to share with all of us. It is not news that we all have fears in our lives, irrespective of what it may be, for some it is the fear of losing someone, for some it is the fear of a colleague a friend, financial fears, the fear of tomorrow, the fear of drowning, the fears of closed spaces etc.

What it may be we all have fears and that is one of the most important things we ought to embrace before we can even start to do anything about our fears. There was a saying that i read today which talked about how one of man's greatest discoveries in life wasn't electricity, or technology or mobile fons etc but rather that fact that he could actually do what he has already been afraid to do.

When we are finally able to muster that courage towards our fears, when we are finally able to face those fears head on and approach things whichever or however they may be knowing that this is something we ought to face and we are facing them, then we come to the realization that our fears are no long things we ought to fear and at that moment we realize that we have truly overcome them.

When that dawns on you, then you can move on to the next thing in life, is like the fear over an ex, or mustering the courage to profess love to another person or a lady or a gentleman. That fear could paralyze from making any move if you will give in to all those scary thoughts running through your head, those terrible and embarrassing scenarios.

But then when you finally decide to do it and to accept whatever outcome that may come out of it, then you realize that you have achieve and that your fears are no longer valid. So make a move today towards your fears and overcome them. The sky is the limit.
