Psalm 55:12 - 14, If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide. But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship at the house of God,
as we walked about among the worshipers.
Our elders like to say, "Aboa bi b3ka woa, na efiri wo ntoma mu" and i believe that they couldn't have been any more truthful that this. In this world we live in, our now global village where people can reach people million miles away via a small gadget this still saying continues to have grounds and hold in everything we do.
For someone to be able to hurt you, for someone to be able to do harm to you or cause you other forms of damages physical or emotional that person ought to be or have been closed to you for it takes one to know one and it takes one to be able to inflict pain or happiness or sorrow etc on another.
In our day and age the youth of today put their entire lives out there on what they refer to or call social media, people follow them everywhere some even go ahead to put things as private as their sex life or marriage life or couple lives on social media for others to follow and so when things go wrong they go badly and when the pain comes is extreme because everyone can hurt them because almost everyone knows their everything and can be considered close.
We have to learn to be careful of who or whom we allow to be close to us, we have to careful with regard to those we call friends, those we call loved ones, those we call caregivers etc. Beware those close to you for it is only they who can cause you harm.
