Hello everyone,
When it comes to the insane maltreatment of women here in Africa, the one that really touches and burns my soul is the issue of witchcraft. The unfair labelling of women in society, especially the much older women is something that must be really abolished.
Why should these our grandmothers be accused of being the cause of their family's suffering? What at all have they done to deserve this sort of maltreatment?
I seriously believe that it is the work of those false prophets in the one-man churches who are causing this mess. I think we need to start building up serious police cases that would charge them and potentially lock them up for wrongful accusations otherwise this would not stop.
I remember when law enforcement took to their heel and did this in the past with the imprisonment of some false prophets after a young boy testified that it was them who motivated him to commit murder. This would surely serve as a deterrent to these wrongful accusations.
I find it quite unfortunate that we live in a country where such a horrific accusation can be made about someone's mother or grandmother and then they could end up being sent to a witch camp to live the rest of their days without any form of repercussions.
This has to end by any means necessary. If it is a task force that is going to be set up or it is a team that is going to see to this, it has to end NOW. Thank you.
The surprising thing about all is the fact that is only poor people parents that are witches 🤣🤣🤣.
