Hello guys today I present to you a famous traditional meal from my locality , it is made with groundnuts and boiled cassava paste called "miondo"
Quickly I will show you the step by step process which I took to prepare this
INGREDIENTS
PEANUTS
ONIONS
MAGGI CUBES
CASSAVA PASTE
VEGETABLE OIL
SALT
PROCESSING
∆ The cassava paste is being rolled into little pieces and tied in leafs, now water is being poured into a pot and the rolls are being boiled in the pot for about 10-15minutes
∆After the boiling process the paste becomes hard and is ready for consumption
∆Now pout water into another pot and pour some salt and Maggi cubes into it, this is for taste and alittle but of preservation
∆Now the Peanuts are ground into a paste like form depending on the texture and setup of the machine , the past is now poured into the pot with the water and seasoning (salt and Maggi)
∆Now the paste is being stired continuously till it becomes thicker and more dark , we keep on stiring under low heat too
∆As time goes on the paste becomes more thicker and begins to get dark , after that we add vegetable oil and also our onions for a proper flavour
∆After putting oil and onions we let it cook for about 5 minutes and then it's ready to bite
