I bring you greetings all the way from Nigeria. Lagos state to be precised. How are you all doing? I hope the weather over there is treating you well? Over here it is very hot. Although we have seen rainfall like twice yet every where is till hot. Today i would like to share with you about my day dated 12th march 2022 which was Saturday. Seat back and read.
It rained from 11pm until 2am. The weather became a bit cold. I woke up by 7:30am because i stayed awake cleaning the rain water that got into my apartment from some opening at the door. I went straight to my prayer place and quickly gave thanks to God. I have so much to do so i did not want to take so much time praying. By 8am i was done with my prayers.
I got into the bathroom to bath and brush my teeth, got dressed and was ready to leave the house. I needed to go to the market to shop for my friend and her son but first i didnt have the physical money with me so i needed to use the Atm, because the pos guys around my street has not opened for the day.
One my way to the atm i saw this spot where the sell beans cake we actually call it akara over here. At this spot it is sold with kooko a local food mostly taken by the northerners and west of Nigeria.
Akara spot
I didnt have dinner the previous night so i was already hungry, i stopped by to buy some akara and bread from the spot. I bought akara worth of 50 naira which is less than 1 steem and bread 50 naira which is also less than 1 steemthen and i ate it will seating in a shop close to the spot.

After eating, i continued my journey to the atm. When i got to the atm, it was already 10am. The queue i met at the atm was long so i joined the queue waiting for when my turn will come. When it got to my turn, i withdrew the amount of money i needed and i left there.

I got to the market at exactly 10:15am. And i began my shopping.
Bariga market
The first thing i went to buy was some provisions like milk, golden morn, milo, noodles, and the rest of them. Afterwards, i proceeded to buy other things like yam, potatoes, semovita, vegetable oil, eggs, and the rest.
I shopped until it was 12pm so i got tired and decided to visit my friend to surprise her with those items. She has just relocated back to Lagos and was yet to adjust to Lagos city. I know things are not so rosy for her because she and her husband had to quite their job in other to relocate.
By 12:20pm i got a tricycle to convey my goods and myself to where my friend and family lives.
It took about 45minutes for me to get to her house because of traffic and bad road. By 1pm i arrived her house.
She welcomed me in so happily. And her son was not left out as he came to hug me. We talked about alot of things and she gave me food to eat because i was already hungry.

I stayed with her and her son until it was 4:30pm. It was time for me to leave and her son knew i was about leaving and began crying. I felt bad but i just had to go home.
I got home exactly by 5:30pm very tired. I went into the bathroom, had my bath and slept for about 30 minutes.
I woke up by 6pm and i login into my account here on steemit to make a post and check for notifications. I replied comments and by 7:30 pm i logged out and login to my whatsap account to chat with my friends and family.
I switched on my radio on my phone to listen to news and i did that for about 30 minutes.
By 10 it was time for me to go and sleep, so i swiched off my phone and kept it, then i went to bed.
This was how i spent my day on the 12th march 2022. I hope you enjoyed reading? I will see you some other time.
Thank you for reading..
Regards
Hi @ruthjoe. Good to hear from you. We do not get rainfall here as you get over there. But we pray it comes in its time. Also you have such an engaging market. Nice pictures dear friend. Keep sharing and enjoy your steem-life.

Thank you for finding my post worth reading..
Yes rainfall around can be very annoying sometimes but we thank God for it is a blessing. Yes this marketing is one of the most engaging markets because it like a central market.

This is quite a great presentation of your daily activities @ruthjoe. We have akara here too. But we call it bowfloat here. I really like to have it with porridge (hausa koko) for breakfast every now and then.
Take care and steem on.

So you have akara over there as bowfloat! This is really interesting. I just love to have mine with bread sometimes with rice. I think you should try it out too @njaywan
