Hello Steem Ghana, I hope everyone is doing good. I come here today to share an article about emotions and how they affect the heart. I hope you guys will enjoy it.
You may not have considered the impact of your emotions on your heart's health, but there is undoubtedly a connection between our hearts and minds. According to a 2018 report, your heart's fitness has a positive impact on your mental health. A healthy heart decreases the risk of dementia and cognitive impairment, but there's also a correlation when you're not feeling well mentally. Your mental wellbeing, or how you feel and think, has an effect on your heart's state.

Patients who become depressed after being diagnosed with heart disease, for example, have a greater chance of experiencing a dangerous heart-related condition within a year.
In reality, any strong emotion, such as rage, can trigger serious and fatal abnormal heart rhythms if you have any form of heart disease.

source
It's not shocking that rage and bitterness are related to heart disease, but so are quieter negative feelings. You don't need to have a heart attack to be affected by it.
Emotional self-control

source
Worry, fatigue, anxiety, and depression have all been related to an increased risk of heart disease, with extreme depression doubling the risk of dying from a heart attack. So, how do you manage the feelings that cause such unwelcome consequences? Some simple ways below to help
Three days a week, exercise for at least an hour

source
Aerobic activity benefits both the heart and the brain, regardless of how you get it. Exercise will help you cope with stressful situations by clearing your mind of worrying thoughts.
Mindfulness is a good thing to do.

source
Meditation is a beautiful and efficient form of stress reduction. You can use applications like Headspace or Relax (there are others), or you can make yoga a normal activity. If you prefer, you can take a class or watch a free Yoga video on YouTube. For beginners, Adriene's Yoga is a good place to start.
Look for a therapist.

source
If you haven't already done so, a therapist will assist you in learning good mental behaviors. When trying to process our emotions, seeking outside help can help to alleviate the feeling of overwhelming. I have attached a link to her page on youtube
Get out of the building.
Engage in physical activity, socialize, and get to know your neighbors. Making new friends and keeping old ones is a mutually beneficial way to reduce tension and avoid feeling alone. Take a stroll around the neighborhood with a friend and mark two items off your to-do list. Your heart and mind will benefit from the exercise as well as the social element.
Have a laugh

source
It can seem stupid, but smiling will help you relax. According to studies, the act of smiling sends signals to the brain that you're content. So, even if it doesn't start out as a genuine smile or laugh, it might end up being one! Managing mental and physical health can be daunting at times, but start small this month by trying one new thing. You'll gradually become your healthiest self.
