Hello my Friends, how are you all doing over there? I hope you are well?
It’s your regular author who always has your best interest at heart. So, today, I would be talking about how to maintain Mental health.
Lack of sound mental health can trigger a lot of negativities. Which is not healthy for our system(body). Many young folks have been a victim of this on many occasions. Sadly, some have lost their lives during these hard times. I have been a victim too.
So, I thought it would be wise to address this to my beloved friends here. You are free to share this Information within this platform, hopefully, it would be safe for a soul out there.

To improve on your Mental health, please consider giving attention to the following points:

DON’T REMEMBER THE PAST:

It is very necessary to let go of the past experience or anything that weighs you down for you to have a better mind or what I will call peace of Mind. You need to forgive yourself. When you do this, your mind will slowly get healed or better.

FILL YOUR MIND WITH POSITIVE THOUGHTS:

Our minds are not really empty. Our mental health is a function of the belief and information stored in our minds. And there are two things involved, it’s either filled with positive or negative thoughts. The only way to eliminate bad thoughts in our minds is by REPLACING them with positive thoughts. One of the best ways of doing that is by reading books or articles or watching videos that inspire you perhaps you can read articles on the steemit platform, maybe in your favorite Community.

SET PROPER POSITIVE THINKING TECHNIQUES OR SYSTEMS:

You need to initiate a system or techniques that help make your mind stay positive. EMPLOYING STRATEGIES THAT WILL ENSURE YOUR MIND STAYS POSITIVE is healthy. You also need to know that what works for A might not work for B. That’s the more reason you need to fetch out what works for you. Such systems can include: being part of a mental accountability group, seeing a therapist regularly, always having a friend you confide in, always surrounding yourself with a positive environment or association or information. Avoid bad habits that make you feel bad about yourself. Be grateful for the little good wins or things that happen in your life. Avoid things that trigger a bad mood.

BE INTENTIONAL/NEVER GIVE UP:

Any moment you made up your mind to improve your mental health, just know that it is not easy and you may not see results quickly, it takes a little time, so you need to be serious and committed. One way of doing this is to remind yourself always of how important "a better/improved mind" is to you.

CELEBRATE YOUR LITTLE WIN ALONG THE WAY:

It is good to include this because it is so important. Don't wait for bigger ones, celebrate even the smaller ones.

For example, I wanted to make this post a very long time ago, but when I checked my club level, found out that, I wasn’t in club5050 anymore. So, I had to wait for one active payout which going to be due in two hours’ time and that is now. Now, I have achieved that and I am happy, and guess what? I just hit 1K SP this night. Isn’t that amazing and worth celebrating?
