A superb day to my fellow steemians in this community!
"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." -Sir Winston Churchill
This saying reminds me that through giving and sharing mark a significant change to the lives of the people we have touched. My sincere gratitude to @steemwomenclub whom I believe, aside from the curators, one of the reasons why I was able to share goodness to the needy, and thanks also for this contest, I can now tell my desire why I delegate in this community.
It has been three months since I joined steemit platform. Starting from my introductory post and other significant posts I shared in this community. I never realized, I become very productive. This is one of the communities who greatly help me grow in steemit. At that time, I only had few steem, that I did not know how to gain it. Later, I learned that I could get steem through participating in a contest or you can buy it through your SBD. And so, with the guidance of my friend @fabio2614, I joined contests and bought steem as well. Another good insight I learned at steemit, is ''power-up", from so many posts shared about powering up, I discovered that it's the best way to do so because you could give back to the community and even help the newcomers like upvoting or resteeming.
From what I have learned about powering-up, I do that every week as long as I have steem in my wallet. Now most importantly, I also learned how to delegate using my steem power. I now understand that aside from "power-up", there is another way to help the community and that is through "DELEGATION", for me, it is a great way in supporting the community, aside from that, you can also earn as your return of investment, but what matters most is I am able to show that I value this community who helps me grow.
I bought steem from SBD earned in my latest post to power-up so I could contribute and support to this community. What I delegated today, may not be that much for I only have few steem power but at least I could show my gratitude here.
Doing kindness come in varied ways, I believe what I did today is one of it. I hope, this may be able to help the newcomers and to the community... Like what this community, curators, and other steemians raised me when I was once a new one.
I am inviting my friends, @kyrie1234 and @mich103 to join in this contest and let us together rise as one community.
Truly,
