Today i will showing us the most simple and local way of preparing plantain porridge that is so nutritious...

Ingredients

  1. pepper
  2. onion
  3. red oil
  4. Maggi
  5. Salt
  6. Scent leaf
  7. Plantain

steps in preparation

  1. Slice and cook your plantain for about 15 minutes

  2. Wash your pepper, onion and scent leaf and pound together

  3. Add 1cube of maggi and salt to taste and stir together

  4. Pour your cooked plantain and add red oil to it and stir all together and your food is ready.

After which you have your prepared plantain porridge ready to enjoy.

I so much enjoy this food because of the health benefit of the ingredients and how quick it is to make..
well i leant making this from my mum who will always say plantain is good for the body, you can have it in the morning and it will carry you through out the day...thats plantain for you..

Health benefit of scent leaf

  1. It helps in food digestion.

  2. It helps to reduce high sugar level.

  3. It helps in the treatment of infections, even when placed on an open wounds, it helps the healing process fester without any infections..

  4. Scent leaf helps in good eye sight, mum use to say the more you consume scent leaf, the more clearer you see😁

  5. It helps in treating diarrhea, stomach aches and running stomach...each time i have running stomach, mum will always make this food for me and after which i wil be perfectly fine after enjoying my meal.

Looks healthy and nutritious but please is it ripe or unriped plantains

The one i made is unripe but you can use anyone, both the ripe and unripe..

This writing reminds me those days in the village, where you will get plantains easily,this was my best food.
