Hello beautiful ladies, how are you? Its a pleasure to be here once again to write on this platform especially,on an interesting topic that some may look down on due to ignorance or less concern.

Whats the big deal?
It is common to hear that water is essential to ones health. But why ?
The substance makes up a majority of your body weight and its involving many important functions including;
*Flushing out waste from your body
*Regulating body temperature
*Helping your brain function

Remember, you get most of your water from beverages, but food also contributes to small amount of your daily water intake.

WAYS WATER CAN IMPROVE YOUR WELL BEING

** It helps create saliva: water is a main component of saliva. Saliva also include small amount of electrolytes,mucus and enzymes. Its essential for breaking down solid and keeping your mouth health.

NOTE: Your body generally produces enough saliva with the regular fluid intake. So if your mouth is drier than usual,and increasing your water intake is not helping, see your doctor.

** It regulates your body temperature:
Staying hydrated is crucial to maintaining your body temperature. Your body loses water through sweat during physical activities or in hot environment

Your body sweat keeps your body cool, but your body temperature will rise if you don't replenish the water you loose. That's because your body loses electrolytes and plasma when its dehydrated.

NOTE: If you are sweating more than usual, make sure you drink enough water to avoid dehydration.

**It helps protect your tissue, spinal cord and joint: Water consumption helps lubricate and cushion your joint, spinal cord and tissues. It will also help you enjoy your physical activities and less discomfort caused by athritis.

** Helps excrete waste through perspiration, urination, and defecation.
Your body uses water to sweat,urinate,and have bowel movement.

You also need enough water in your system to have healthy stool and avoid constipation.

Your kidneys are also important for filtering out waste through urination.

NOTE: Adequate water intake help your kidneys work more efficiently and helps to prevent kidney stones .

** It helps fight illness: Drinking enough water can help prevent certain medical conditions like;
Constipation
Kidney stone
Urinary track infection
Hypertension

It also improve body oxygen.
It boost energy
Make up 83%of your blood
Compose 75%of your brain
Make up 75%of your muscle
Composes 22%of your bone
Perfect vital organs.

How much water should you drink?

Most people drink when they are thirsty which helps regulate daily water intake. But according to National Academics of sciences Engineering and medicine,general water intake that meet most poeples needs are;
*15.5 cups of water each day for men
*11.5 cups of water daily for women

NOTE: There are other ways to access your hydration, your taste and colour of your urine
*Felling thirsty indicates your body is not receiving adequate hydration
*Urine that is dark or coloured indicates dehydration
*Pale or non coloured typically indicates proper hydration
But please, dont wait until you are thirsty before taking water.

CONCLUSION

Water is important to nearly every part of your body. Not only will hitting your daily recommended intake help you maintain your current state of being. It may even improve your overall health.
