Being an unmarried guy yet, my mom and sister are the two important women in my life. For me, it is difficult to choose one among them as both have a definite place in my life. However, for the sake of this task, I'll choose to write about my mom.

My Mom

As saying goes :

Mother is the name for God in the lips and hearts of little children.

For me, the mother is not just like other human beings in my life or anybody's life. Mother is a synonym with eternal hope, love and compassion, blessings, care, mentor etc. Every word of praise is meant to describe the mother.

It is said that our mother bears pain analogous to the breaking of 20 bones during labour which means, the breaking of 20 bones causes pain equivalent to that experienced by a mother during delivery and then the sleepless nights during infancy and childhood are not the final means through which our mothers suffer. Mother is always there for you through thick and thin.

Besides all the common hardships that every mother face, my mother has a great roll in shaping my future. I remember that during my childhood, my father used to have training out of state for months to years and during that time my mother was playing a role of father as well. My mother used to give me little perks while I used to get my homework done. At times my mother used to warn me of complaining to the father for non-compliance. One hard and sweet thing that I was made to follow during my childhood was to comply with the limited time that my mother used to give me while going out for playing. You know that, during childhood, time is immaterial and that too while playing. Making me follow a time-bound schedule is something that I think has played the greatest role in shaping my future.

Besides all the affection that all the mothers shower on their kids, my mother cleverly kept me away from all the bad things that kids are susceptible to adopt in different age groups. My mother is the only person who made me imbibe all the morals that one must have. I don't mean that I am perfect but whatever I am, I owe it to my mother.

My mother used to tell me interesting and inspiring stories while i was preparing for my preliminary medical examination untill i went through. Thereafter , my mother left home and accompanied me to the city where College was located. Now, I am in a government job and my mom always keeps my clothes and everything ready to use. I have no words to express my gratitude to her and Almighty for bestowing me with the world's best mother.

Mother is a GODDESS to accompany you till her last breath. My mother is my life. How can I forget or pay for the pain that she had while giving birth to me? How can I pay for those sleepless nights that she had while consoling me while I was an infant? How can I payback for all the morals that she inculcated into my behaviour? How can I pay for those long hours of hunger that she had while waiting for me to come home and have meals together? How can I pay back for all worldly name or fame or livelihood that I have because of her timely tactics to channelise my efforts? How can I care that much for her as she is doing likewise cooking my favourite dishes even today? I cannot pay for an iota of quest that she had for me. My mom is my life . I wish, I could have her with me 24x7. I salute my mom and pray for her healthy and happy life.
