Nail time

This year is one of my favourite because i saw that i have upgrade my skills on nail designs without any help though.

I should've taken more photos from this set because these 2 aren't good enough and the result wasn't as the photos for sure.

Products that i used:

  • base/non wipe top coat
  • purple pastel gel polish
  • darker purple gel polish
  • light orange gel polish
  • light blue gel polish
  • darker blue gel polish
  • black gel polish
  • white paste

I removed the previous set as always with aceton. I filed them, then i applied the dehydrator and then the primer. As always i leave the nails with the design for the end.

I had to apply 3 coats of the pastel purple gel polish to have the best result. I don't know why but on my mom's nails 2 coats are fine.

Anyway, when you try to do the ombre technique, your products have to be stable on the nail because if they are thin as gel polishes then your work will be harder compared with the pastes for example. But i don't have pastes so i worked with the gel polishes.

The problem here was that i had to clean the cuticles because the gel polish was moving upwards to my cuticles and i didn't want to cure them too. The best solution in that case is to use less product every time and only if it's necessary you can add some more.

And this is the nail design that i did this time. I hope you like it.

I was able to keep the piercing on my nail.
