It is used in cuisines around the world., most people prepares pineapple and sells it in the road sides as snacks. #The western part do ganish with slices of cherry in the middle, it is also sold in whole or halves with a stick inserted in it. Pineapple chunks are used in deserts for fruit salad and in some (savory) dishes even in pizza toppings or for grilled ring on a hamburger. Some traditional foods that uses pineapple are ( afritada, kaengsompla, hamonado). The crushed pineapple are added on yoghurt, sweets, jam even in ice cream. The juice produced from pineapple can serve as beverage and it is even the main ingredient in cocktails; such as pina colada and in tepache drink. Pineapple vinegar is the ingredient in Honduran and Filipino cuisine, where it is locally produced. In Mexico it is usually produced with peels from the whole fruit, instead of the juice, but in Taiwanese cuisine they often produce it by blending pineapple juice with grain vinegar.
The Netherlands was the most populated importer of pineapple juice in Europe.
The major suppliers to the European union market in 2012-2016 are the Costa, Thailand, Rica and Netherlands.
The countries that consumes the pineapple juice in 2017 were Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines, having the 47% consumption of the world in total. The year 2007 to 2017, Angola has the largest growth in pineapple juice consumption. China and India has the lowest consumption of pineapple juice compared to their population.
