South Indian Dish Masala Dosa crunchy and yummy🥟🍱🍛🍲🌮

Yummy and Delightful Dosa Recipe by Me Medha5

For batter preparation Ingredients required

3 cups rice, sona masuri / dosa rice
1 cup urad dal
½ tsp methi / fenugreek seeds
1 cup thin poha / avalakki / beaten rice
salt to taste
water for soaking

Making of batter

firstly, in a large bowl, soak 3 cups of rice and methi seeds for atleast 5 hours.
furthermore, soak urad dal for 3 hours.
drain the water from urad dal and keep aside.
transfer the soaked urad dal into blender and blend to smooth and fluffy batter.
collect it into a large bowl and keep aside.
further, blend the soaked rice along with poha adding water if required.
transfer to the bowl of urad dal batter.
mix well making sure the batter has combined completely.
also clean the sides with your hand.
cover and ferment in a warm place for 8- 12 hours.
the next day you can see the batter has raised well indicating its well fermented.
additionally, mix the batter slightly.
further scoop the required batter in a different bowl.
and add salt to the batter and mix well.

Making of the Dosa Stuffing or masala

1 tbsp finally chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp mustard seeds
2 tbsp mustard oil
8-10 curry leaves
2 chopped onions
2 green chillies
1 red chilly
Pinch of turmeric
Salt to taste
4 mashed potatoes
1 tbsp gram pulse

Take a pan heat the oil and then add the dry chilly , add 1 tbsp of gram pulse ,mustard seeds and curry leaves let them become brownish and then add the chopped onions fry them properly . And finally add the mashed potatoes and spices and salt to taste . Add the chopped coriander leaves .

Making of Dosa

heat the griddle. smear some oil over the tawa and wipe off with a tissue paper. (do not add oil if using non-stick pan)

furthermore, sprinkle some water and wipe off with wet cloth.and pour a ladleful of the batter on it and spread it in a circular motion thin circle.

also smear a little oil over it.

Making of Chana dal and coconut chutney

Take a pan and 1 cup of gram pulse then add a hand full of chopped coconuts and fry them until they turns golden brown then grind them and add salt .

To taste good smoke them with with red chilly , curry leaves and mustard seeds
