Learn with steem|| How to upload short videos on Steem platform || 50% goes to @womenclubcharity

Greetings to all women around the globe and happy Sunday, I'm happy to be here again, bringing greetings from Nigeria. Today in my post I will be sharing with you all how I turn my short videos to gifs and upload them in my posts. I made a post yesterday that includes gifs and I got this comment below, which made me decide to do a tutorial about it.

Sometimes we want to elaborate more or make our post beautiful with the use of short videos or gifs. It's not as difficult as it looks, everyone can do it. I use giphy app to change my short videos to gif which enable me to upload it on steemit platform. You can download the app here , download the app and sign up.

Changing my video to gifs using giphy app

I ensure that my 5 to 6 second video is ready and I go to my gifs app to change it to gifs

• open the app and click on create
• it will take you to your gallery, click on the video you want to change to gifs

• click on the video from the gallery and it will take you back to the app
• click on the arrow in the purple box and your gifs will be upload in your profile.

• click on the video from your profile so as to save the gifs to your phone gallery.

• the gifs is ready for use, upload like you would upload your image on Steem.

It's that easy, a lot of times we want to add value to our post with videos and because of steemit platform limitation of videos, we can as well use gifs to beautify and add value to our posts.
However there is also an option of uploading the video to YouTube and copy the link to your post. I hope this my post is of help to a lot of steem women and steemians generally.
