Hello dear wonderful women of steemit. I hope we are all doing well. Today I will be making a post about how to make a diy leave in conditioner at the comfort of your home.

Backstory

I happen to be an African women with kinky black African hair. Due to its kinky nature, it becomes difficult for the naturally produced sebum to travel the lengty of the strand properly. It also makes the hair get tangled a lot. My hair happens to be of low porosity as well i.e it easily absorbs moisture and also easily loses it. So it dries up very quickly.

In order to combat this, I use leave in conditioner daily and when doing anything with my hair so as to keep it moisturised. Unfortunately for me, this means that it runs out very quickly. Thus came the option, diy. This diy is very simple and customisable to suit each woman or your hair needs. So without further ado, here is the procedure.

Requirements

  • Spray bottle
  • Conditioner
  • Water
  • Olive oil( or any moisturising oil of your choice)
  • Essential oils (Optional)

I'll try it out. I hope it doesn't dry my hair out

On the contrary, it'll keep it moisturised. Just make sure to use a sealant after using to lock in the moisture.

I’ll be sure to try this

That's great.
