Good morning my great women in this amazing community of steemwoman club, I believe all of you are doing well in your daily activities. I come from Akwaibom state in Nigeria,in my state we have three tribes which are Ibibio, Annang and Oron. and I am Ibibio woman.
Atarma leaf is one of our favorite traditional soup
MY BEST TRADITIONAL FOOD
My best traditional food is atarma soup in Ibibio.

INGREDIENTS
Atarma leaf
water leaf
Palm fruits
Fiish and crayfish
Periwinkles
Fresh pepper and onions
salt and seasoning cubes
meat
Stock fish
This soup is a special soup in my locality and most people including strangers like eating it and it is my best soup also.
Atarma soup is among the best and special soup prepared for inlaws during the traditional marriage in my locality.
Atarma soup is prepared in a very special way because we used palm fruit oil water to cooked it.
The atarma leaf is very good leaf and also good for health. these are the benefits
it helps in weight loss and maintaining proper health
it is very nutritionally meal because it fight against damage cells.
it is a good source of nutrients and vitamin so eating it is a healthy diet.
it is help in digestion and also good for heart health condition.
It prevents internal heat
Palm Fruits
Palm fruit oil water is used to prepare this special food. Palm fruit is very good and rich in minerals and also a good source of vitamins B,C and iron.
Palm fruit oil prevent difficiency of vitamins A and also prevents cancer. It good for people who is suffering from diabetes,and also good for eye sight.
Pre-preparation Steps
sliced the atarma leaf, chop it and saoked it in hot water for some minutes and then used filter to drilled the water
wash water leaf and chop
boil the palm oil fruits, when it is done pound it using morter and used warm water to mill it
grind crayfish, and pepper
wash fish and stock fish
season meat
Cooking Preparation
wash the pot and pour the palm fruit mill water inside.
put the stock fish and add small quantity of salt and steam it for soom minutes
then put fish ,grinded crayfish, seasoning cubes and pepper
then turn the already seasoning meat inside the steaming pot and cover the pot
after some minutes put the already chop water leaf stir it and continue to steam it for five minutes,then finally put the atarma leaf into the pot and stir it to mixed with other ingredients, leave it on the fire for two minutes,after two minutes put the pot down.

Boom my delicious atarma soup is ready and I used Garri to eat it. But you can use fufu, semovita or wheat to eat it.
