Como se lee en el párrafo anterior sobre la organización del básquet en USA, en el año 1981 Jordan ingresa Al equipo de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte, era tan grande el talento de este muchacho que solo a los dos años siguientes 1983 fue elegido como el mejor jugador de la NCAA, al siguiente año 1984 es distinguido con el mismo premio
Su primera competición a nivel internacional siendo jugador de la NCAA, corresponde a las olimpiadas celebradas en los Ángeles 1984, donde el equipo de USA arrasa con todos sus rivales y vence en la final a la selección de España, lo que catapulta a Mucha Jordan al reconocimiento del mundo por su calidad denostada en este magno evento del deporte
Ese mismo año de los Juegos Olímpicos 1984 da incio a su carrera como profesional en la NBA , es elegido en en draft por el equipo de Chicago Bulls donde obtuvo sus mayores logros en este deporte

Jordan anuncia su retiro en 1999, pero luego vuelve a la NBA en el 2001 con los Washington Wizards agregando más números a su estadísticas sobrenaturales hasta el año 2003 donde anuncia su definitivo retiró.

El oriundo de Alabama Estados Unidos es un ex baskebolista que destacó en el mundo del baloncesto en especial el de la NBA durante más de una década, durante sus inicios con el equipo de Philadelphia 76ers empezaba a marcar pauta en su posición, era un jugador pasado de peso y de baja estatura para su posición pero su fuerza y determinación lo llevaron a obtener un sitio muy privilegiado en el juego,puesto que sus promedios en anotación superaban los 25pts a igual que los rebotes la cual su promedio por partidos eran de mas de 12, números que lo hacían grande, pues su estatura no era para la de su posición de ala pivot y aun así destacaba y al mismo tiempo cubría otras posiciones en la cancha confundiendo a sus rivales y de igual forma ayudaba de manera extraordinaria a su equipo.
Comienza su carrera profesional en la década de los 80’ con el equipo de los 76ers, en donde marca el inicio de un recambio generacional ocupando el vacío de estrellas ya retiradas o en el ocaso de su carrera, pone números impresionantes, promediando 28 pts por partido, números que lo llevaron a no tanto a ser convocado a varios juegos de estrellas si no que lo llevaron a ser famoso puesto que su imagen y su manera de jugar lo hacen ser parte de la portada muy famosa en EEUU Sports Illustrated que lo catapulta más a la fama.
En el año de 1993 cuando pasa a los Phoenix Suns, llega a ser un cambio que beneficia a ambas partes, tanto a Charles como a los Suns, puesto que gracias a la adición de el equipo de Arizona logra el mejor récord de la liga y Charles mantiene sus números llevando su nuevo equipo a las finales por primera vez desde la década de los 70’ y la convocatoria a varios juegos de estrellas y el galardón como jugador más valioso de la liga.
A nivel internacional, representa a su país en los juegos olímpicos de Barcelona 1992 en donde forma parte del famoso DREAM TEAM ayudando a su país a ganar el oro olímpico haciendo gala de su buen juego junto a una constelación de estrellas que ganaron ese torneo de manera abrumadora.

Uno de su principales figuras en la ofensiva fue el jugador Terance Mann quien ayudo a su equipo a ganar este partido al concretar 39 puntos , y ayudar a su equipo a regresar al partido luego de estar debajo en el marcador una inspiración fue este joven jugador para los Clippers quienes avanzan a su primera final del Oeste
Cuando la súper estrella Kawhi Leonard se lesiono se pensó que los Clippers perderían pero salieron jugadores de la banca a dar todo por su equipo y cada uno de esos partido jugaron con el alma para definitivamente encaminar a su equipo a pasar a la siguiente ronda , nuevamente Paul George el ex Indiana placer logro otra gran jornada ofensiva al terminar con una línea de 28 puntos 9 rebotes , reggie jackson con 27 puntos.
El equipo de los Jazz de Utah se desplomó en los cuartos finales del encuentro , en la primera parte del encuentro los de Utah ganaban el compromiso muy cómodo en el marcador 50-72 una diferencia de más de 20 puntos . Atlanta Vs Sixers Game 6
Atlanta Hawks consiguieron su pase a la siguiente ronda luego de eliminar al equipo de los sixers con marcador de 103 a 96 en el 7 mo y decisivo partido de la serie , una serie igualada a 3 y que atlanta en los últimos compromisos habían venido desde atrás para ganar los encuentros. Nuevamente su figura ofensiva fue el jugador Young con 21 puntos
