What an amazing and interesting contest this is I must say! Good day everyone, hope we are all doing well by grace, I am pleased to join this community and also participate in its contest for the first time. I am grateful to @cotina and all other members that played a role in publishing the contest.
I watch and read about mostly fictional genre topics, movies, comic books, series, or cartoons. And most times, I get caught up in the performance of the villains rather than the heroes of the play. Some villain do steal the spotlight as you’ve said, example is one of the best villains of all time “the joker”. Played by several actors but every one of them was very remarkable in playing the role. And today my entry villain for the despicable me contest is no other than ladies and gentlemen, the mad titan “Thanos”.
Thanos, an eternal warlord from the moon titan, also called the mad titan is considered to be one of the most powerful beings or villains in the marvel cinematic universe. He made his first appearance in the MCU movies universe in the avengers movie, “The Avengers 2012” then his next appearance in “Avengers Age of Ultron 2015” and finally played as one of the main characters in “Avengers Infinity War 2019” and also in “Avengers Endgame”.

Thanos seek only one thing, and that is a perfect balance in the universe. He believed that the universe was at its peak and therefore sacrifices were needed in other to bring back balance to the universe. He goes around killing people planet by planet, massacre by massacre in other to achieve this goal. And he sets off on a mission to get six infinity stone, stones that has real great power and use it wipe off half of the universe population with just a snap of a finger. He even offered a solution of genocide of the random people in his planet when they were faced with extinction, but he was called a mad man, hence his nickname the mad titan.
With such repulsive and extreme measures, he believed those were the only way to save the universe from extinction due over population and therefore bringing about competition for resources. He dedicated his life, properties and even sacrifice his adopted daughter who he loved very just to achieve his goal of saving the universe. His determination to achieve this goal was that was to it to admire this mad man. He was a caring and loving being with a heart full of emotions, but he had to put that aside in other to achieve his goal in saving the universe. Truly a very ambitious and determined man he is.
Anyone who has watched avenger infinity war 2018 will agree to it that thanos was incredible the movie from the start of it right to the end of the movie. He single handedly smashed through the earth mightiest heroes the avengers in both infinity war and also in endgame. Taking all six stones across the universe and also being the first ever villain to achieve his goal in the movie avengers infinity war.
Thanos made several iconic quotes though out his play in both infinity war and endgame, the character was played by Josh Brolin. Some of which he said was;
- The hardest choices requires the strongest wills.
- We can run from it, dread from it, destiny arrives all the same.
- Reality is often disappointing. Now, reality can be whatever I want.
- I am inevitable.
- Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
- I’m a survivor.
- I know what it’s like to lose, to feel so desperately that you’re right. Yet to fail nonetheless, it’s frightening.
Thanos was really a great and amazing character, and everyon who was watched movies about him can testify to this. Thank you very much the opportunity given to be part of this community, much regards to everyone.
