What gift would you give yourself?

My life is a great gift. Many thanks to the Creator, who has given me a house to live in, clothes to wear, and a small business to earn a living. After getting all these things, I had a desire to get one thing long ago, and the one thing I want to gift myself is a car.

The car in which all my family members, including me, will go for a picnic at least once a month. I have ridden a lot in other people's cars and rental cars, but the joy of going on a long drive while sitting in the front seat of my own car and holding the steering wheel in my hand may not be found anywhere else. So I want to gift myself a car if I can afford it.

We definitely need a car to travel to a distant place. We have many distant relatives in our family; many of them live in faraway places from us. For this, we have to hire a car every time we have to go to the relative's house for various occasions or functions. In this case, we have to spend extra money from our budget every month.

If I have a car, then all of us in our family can go to any relative's house very easily. Even in the rainy season, when rental cars are not available, we can go anywhere we want.

The biggest thing is that if I have a car, I will let pregnant women and old people use it to travel to the hospital. If any patient in my neighborhood ever needs an emergency vehicle in the middle of the night, I can help them with my car.

Car VAT is very high in Bangladesh. Imported car VAT ranges from 150% to 350% according to CC, so buying any car in our country requires a lot of money. I want to gift mysel a Toyota Allion 2022 version car, whose current price is 4 million in Bangladeshi Taka, and if converted to Steem, it is about 212k Steem.

I will definitely buy my car with legal documents. After buying the car, it has separate expenses for tax, insurance, license, and fitness, and for renewing the documents every year, I have to spend about 50000 Bdt, which converts to 2653 steem.

Does steemit help you save for what you want so much?

Steemit can help me save what I want, and I save all my steem to fulfill my dream. However, I have not yet saved the amount of Steem that I need to buy a car. Moreover, I believe that before buying something, we should save twice its amount. By doing this, we will be able to fulfill our dreams and not have to face a sudden financial crisis. So I am saving my steem, and I believe that through Steemit I will be able to fulfill my dream.

What other gifts have you given yourself before?

I had a dream to own a bike, and I was able to gift it to myself. I did not have enough money to buy a new bike, so I bought a second-hand bike. But being able to fulfill a small dream with my own income was very special for me. In June 2022, I gifted the Pulsar Single Disc to myself. I needed it a lot because it was helping me a lot to go from one place to another to visit event decoration spots. Many thanks to the creator, who gave me the ability to gift the bike to myself.
