In this modern world, electronics are very important as there are many things we use electronically, and the greatest mistake that we often make when it comes to the use of electronics is maintaining our electronics which without proper maintenance our electronics can spoil easily. Although, it is difficult to maintain what you have no idea of, relax your mind so you will feel comfortable to read this post which I have exposed the pictogram representation of some of the components in electronics.


TASK 1: Electronic Symbology

An electronic symbology is a pictogram that is used to represent the various components that are used to make electronic devices and their functions. For example, let's say you open the radio 📻 that you have you will see some of the things that have been drawn as shared below.

TASK 2: Briefly define the following.

Alternative Voltage: In electronics and the field of electrical engineering, magnitude, and polarity are common, and alternating voltage Is a voltage that varies between the polarity and magnitude about time. It is a current that changes its direction (reverse) in regards to the direct current that is supplied into the electronic.

Direct Voltage: In electrical terms it is written in short as DC. Simply put direct voltage means a first-hand current that is Tao directly from a high voltage tension which is used to transmit huge amounts of power to interconnect alternatives. For example, a wire that is connected directly from the pole or transformer can be seen as a direct voltage.

Resistance: It means opposition to the current flow of electric power of a circuit.

Potentiometer: It is an electrical component that has three terminals for connecting wires which you can use as a variable resistor or as a voltage divider.

Rectifier diode: It is an electronic that helps you to convert an alternating current into a direct current through the use of a PN junction diode box. The diode is what allows current to flow in one direction.

Diode Bridge: You can still call it a bridge rectifier circuit. It has four different diodes which are used when you want to convert alternating current from input terminal direct to direct current. Electric is risky and I will advise you to take caution when you are dealing with electricity practically.

Capacitor: This is the device that allows your electronics to store electrical energy when being a plug for charging. It does so by accumulating electric charge on two related spaces that are indirectly insulted.

Transistor: is designed to serve two purposes one is to serve as an amplifier that helps to turn small electrical signals into large electrical signals, whereas the second purpose of the transistor is the use of the microscopic switch, for current to flow on one item.

Transformer: Let's just say it is the supplier of energy into all other components. Simply put, it is an electric device that helps to transmit (transfers) energy from one alternating current to other circuits in an electronic.

Fuse: is put into electronic for the safety of the electronic which is purpose is to protect overcurrent when it comes into electronic. You know most time that you plug your electronic might might be too much for the electronic which is a fuse that helps to protect the inflow and outflow of the current.

Lithium battery: It is an alternative to look battery, but it is specifically a rechargeable battery that is used in vaping devices and personal electronics such as tablets, laptops, phones, and other rechargeable electronic devices.
