Hello dear friends how are you all? I hope everyone is well by God's grace. I am also very well by the grace of Allah. Today I have appeared among you to participate in a competition. I know enough about basic electronics because I am an electrical engineer. In that case I am especially aware of the basic knowledge related to electronics. So I am ready to participate here with pleasure.
Workshop 1
Electronic Symbology:
Alternating current | |
| Direct current |
Amperage | |
| Resistance |
Potentiometer or variable resistor | |
| Rectifier diode |
Zener diode | |
| LED diode |
Diode bridge | |
| Electrolytic capacitor |
Ceramic capacitor | |
| Coil |
Fuse | |
| Transformer |
Battery | |
| Ground |
NPN and PNP transistor | |
| Motor |
I have done every basic symbol art in the workshop mentioned here. I have done each symbol in a separate image. I used eighteen pieces of paper to make the presentation clear. Especially I tried to make my art symbols clear and beautiful. I mastered the art of these symbols long ago when I learned basic electronics subjects. I have done my arts with great care. I apologize in advance for any errors in the symbols mentioned. But hopefully I can get it done.
Workshop 2
Briefly define the following.
Alternating Voltage | A voltage that varies with time is called alternating voltage. It changes over time. This voltage is abbreviated as AC voltage. |
A voltage that does not change with time is called a direct voltage. Direct voltage always stays in the same phase. It has no angular spacing. Abbreviated as DC voltage. | Direct Voltage |
Resistance | Resistance is a barrier in a circuit. That is, the device that blocks the flow of current in the circuit is called resistance. The lower the resistance in the circuit, the higher the value of the current flow. If the resistance is high, the current will decrease. |
**Potentiometer i.e. variable resistance, its value can be changed as desired. That is, the resistance whose value can be changed is called potentiometer or variable resistance. | Potentiometer |
Rectifier diode | An electronic device used in a circuit to facilitate current flow in one direction only is called a rectifier diode. This diode operates in normal forward bias otherwise it remains open circuit. |
An electronic circuit in which four diodes exist can be called a bridge. Alternating current can flow through the bridge diode. Besides, it is possible to calculate both positive and negative current in this bridge circuit. | Diode bridge |
Capacitor | Capacity means container, so we can say that an electronic device that can store electrical charge is called a capacitor. A capacitor is denoted by C in general. One of its smallest units is the Micro farad. |
A transistor is a device that conducts current in a circuit. That is, its three ends are base, collector and emitter. In one word, it can be generally said that the electronics semiconductor device with three terminals is the transistor. | Transistor |
Transformer | A transformer is a device that transfers power from one medium to another without any change in voltage or power. Transformers are mainly of two types step up and step down. |
A fuse is a device that protects a circuit when an unwanted current flows in it. In a word it can be said that a fuse is a protection device that protects the circuit load from unexpected current or voltage. | Fuse |
Lithium battery | Lithium batteries are basically a type of rechargeable battery that can be used to power electrical devices. A lithium ion battery is called a lithium battery. Because it is expressed by Li ions. |
Workshop 3
Mention the following types of:
Resistors |
Fixed resistor, whose value does not change. |
Variable resistor, whose value can be changed. |
Surface Mounted Resistor. |
Capacitors |
Fixed capacitor. |
Variable capacitor. |
Electrolytic capacitors |
Diodes |
Rectifier diode. |
Zener diode |
Silicon diode. |
Power diode. |
photo diode. |
Led diode |
Germanium diode. |
Transistor according to their encapsulation. |
BJT - Bipolar Junction Transistor. |
FET - Field Effect Transistor. |
MOS FET - Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor. |
Coils |
Transformer coil. |
motor coil. |
coil of inductor. |
Choke coil. |
I have tried to complete my entry from my own knowledge. I have done this from my basic idea. I have defined the elements I identified above. Finally I was able to present my work.
I participated here with great pleasure. So I invite my dear friend @max-pro @steemdoctor1 @pelon53 to participate here.
