I'm @akbarmia, from #bangladesh.
Today is Monday, like every day, I woke up at 7:00 am to the sound of the clock. Woke up and brushed and finished breakfast fresh. Then I entered the office at 8 am with attendance entry. I came to the office and completed my routine report work. Then I did some sample work. I told my boss earlier that I would be on duty today and go on leave after noon. Around noon I submitted my leave form to the HR department. Then I came to the office and did some more work left the office around 1:30 pm and went home.
I went home in the afternoon and ate lunch in a hurry because I had to go to Dhaka Kamalapur station by the Narayanganj express train that left Narayanganj at 2:05. I took my lunch and left home at 1:50 pm for Shyampur railway station with my bag. I took a rickshaw and went to Shyampur railway station at 2 pm. Shyampur railway station is not far from my house, just two kilometres away.
My journey train schedule at Shyampur railway station was 2.5 PM. I arrived at 2 pm and purchased the first ticket. Then I started waiting for the train. Our scheduled train Narayanganj Express unfortunately reached the station 10 minutes late today. When I reached the station, I boarded the train and sat in my seat. Distance from Shyampur railway station to Kamalapur railway station is only 7 km. So it didn't take much time to reach Kamalapur railway station in just 5 minutes.
I reached Kamalapur railway station at 2:20 PM. My Dhaka to Brahmanbaria 'Upkul Express' train schedule is at 03:10 PM. So I had about 40 minutes. First I verified my online ticket booking by visiting the counter. Then entered a fast food shop at Kamalapur railway station and ordered a chicken burger from there. Because I couldn't eat well because I ate in a hurry at noon. Anyway, I entered the railway station with a chicken burger.
The biggest problem in Bangladesh is not being able to leave trains on time in the railway sector. Today also my scheduled 'Upkul Express' train will leave Dhaka one hour late. Then actually we as passengers have nothing to do. Then I wandered around Kamalapur railway station for some time. Then at 4:00 pm, the train entered the platform. I went to my assigned seat and sat down. Finally, after a long wait, the train left Kamalapur at 4:10 PM at 3:10 PM.
I always like to travel in the window seat. Because the journey is much more enjoyable by enjoying the natural beauty while sitting in the window seat. Today is no exception, I am enjoying the natural beauty through the window. The train was running at its speed to the destination. It is now winter time in Bangladesh and evening darkness falls around 5:30 pm. However today the journey became night due to train delay. The train reached Ashuganj railway station at 6.20 pm.
Exiting Ashuganj railway station, I boarded a CNG to go to my village Nasirnagar. It took about an hour to reach home by CNG from Ashuganj. Anyway, I finally reached home at 7:20 PM. After reaching home and meeting loved ones in the family, I immediately told them all the hardships of the journey. Then freshen up and have dinner. My seven-month-old daughter didn't recognize me when I came home after a long time. After playing with him for a while he recognized me. Played with him for a long time and went to sleep around 11 pm.
Today was a little difficult due to the train delay, but it was great to go home and meet the family. Especially the moment to meet and play with my daughter after almost a month was great.
