Working together with residents to clean the mosque area to welcome the holy month of Ramadan

Ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, the people of Gampong Blang held a joint work together to clean the yard area of the Babusaalam mosque. This tradition has become part of the community's life, where every year, before entering the blessed month, residents work together to ensure the mosque is clean and comfortable to use during worship in this blessed month.

Since morning, residents began to arrive at the mosque with various equipment. Some people immediately started cleaning the mosque area and mopping the floor to the entire room, lifting garbage, others sweeping and lifting garbage to the disposal site. Some young people also helped clean the gutters around the mosque so that water could flow smoothly.

The atmosphere of mutual cooperation felt warm and full of togetherness. While working, residents joked and chatted with each other, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The parents did not miss out, they also helped clean the inside of the mosque, sweeping and mopping the floor, and cleaning the windows to make them look cleaner.

Without realizing it, it was almost noon and most of the work had been completed. The mosque yard now looked cleaner, tidier and more comfortable. After everything was done, the residents gathered in the mosque porch to take a short break and enjoy drinks and snacks that had been prepared by the mosque committee.

This mutual cooperation activity is not only about cleaning the mosque, but also a means of strengthening the ties of friendship between residents. Moments like this remind us of how important it is to be together in maintaining public facilities, especially places of worship that will be used more often during the month of Ramadan.

After everything was done, we did not forget to pray together that this year's Ramadan would bring blessings, health and peace to all residents. With hearts full of gratitude, we returned to our respective homes, ready to welcome the coming of the holy month with a clean environment and a calmer heart.
