Missed the train and headed home by bus. (Dhaka to Kotchandpur)//Date:- 05/01/2025

Instead of waking up a little late like everyday, I woke up much earlier. There are special reasons for this. Because today after three long months I will go home from Dhaka. A different joy is working in the mind. This feeling is really amazing. Our train is at eight in the morning. I had already booked the ticket. So after waking up, I brushed and got fresh. By that time aunty sat down to prepare breakfast for us. Aunt made bread and potato bhaji for breakfast. As I was short of time I ate a loaf of bread and aunty packed some bread for us to eat on the way.

Since the train is at eight o'clock, we left uncle's house for the railway station before seven o'clock in the morning. Uncle dropped us in the bus. I thought the road would not be jammed so early in the morning. But my assumption was wrong. On reaching Mohakhali, we got stuck in a big jam. It was about seven forty o'clock. My tension was only because of the fear of missing the train. We reached the station a little after eight when the jam eased a little. My fear came true and we missed the train😔. I was really disappointed to miss the train. I could not understand what to do then. As we left home we decided in our heart that we will go home by bus.

So I decided to go to Syedabad Bus Terminal. I fixed a rickshaw for 70 taka/1.932 Steem to go to the bus terminal. After some time I reached Syedabad bus terminal. There are many types of transport to go to Kotchandpur like: Golden Line, Royal, Purbasha, Mamun, Kohinoor etc. I didn't get any bus ticket. But suddenly a man came and said, 'There are two seats in Kohinu's bus. I can take this bus if I want.' I didn't want to miss this opportunity. So I bought two tickets with 1200 taka/33.133 Steem and sat on the bus. The bus left Syedabad terminal at 9:30 am for its destination. The bus will reach my destination via Padma Bridge. The bus started moving. After boarding the bus I took some pictures.

The bus continued like this. Within 40 minutes we reached Padma Bridge. The vehicle stopped at the Padma Bridge toll plaza and after paying the bus toll, the bus started moving again. Padma Bridge was covered in thick fog. We were also warned from the toll plaza not to drive over speed. Only cars within a few meters could be seen. When the bus reached Padma Bridge, I took a picture which I shared with you.

It took us 8 minutes to cross the Padma Bridge. After crossing the Padma Bridge, the bus stopped at a stand. And a few hawkers got into the car with their various wares. For example: jhalmuri, chola, boot etc. My sister said she will eat chickpeas. So I asked the hawker to give 20 taka gram. The food was quite interesting. Since the meal was fun, I thought I'd share a picture of the meal with you. The chickpeas were more fun because of the secret of some spices.

Thus the bus continued to its own destination. The bus passed through Rajbari, Faridpur, Magura and Jhenaidah and reached an oil pump in Kaliganj. It is an upazila next to Kotchandpur upazila. Here the car stopped for a while and filled the car's oil tank with required oil. During the journey I got off the bus for a while and took some pictures of the surroundings and surroundings. At the end of the break, the car started moving again. Within 20 minutes I reached my destination. I got down from the car, packed my necessary bags and fixed a rickshaw. I got into the rickshaw and left for home. While sitting in the rickshaw, I took some pictures of our area which I have shared with you. He seemed very happy to return to his native place. One's home is really a place of love for everyone. Finally in no time I reached home. On entering the house I greeted everyone and exchanged greetings. Then a different joy was working in the mind. Really I am very glad to reach home.
