Tom Lost In Laos 😅

and here we go...

So I was on the plane to Vientianne, Laos. The flight went off without a hitch and Lek wanted to pick me up at the airport. She stood there with the most beautiful smile and the joy of seeing each other again was evident in Lek's eyes. We hugged each other very warmly and had tears in our eyes. 14 days can be a very long time when you're in love.

We took a taxi and drove to her home. As I have already reported, Lek and her relatives wanted to organize a big welcome party for me. We stopped on the road leading to her home, and I was amazed. The whole street was covered 😱 with tents.

Now Lek introduced me to her parents and a few relatives. They were very friendly, simple people.

The drinks were delivered and still had to be paid for, just like the food, the music band, the tents, this and that. I paid all the bills, then a little something was missing, I drove with Lek's father to the shop, at the first gas station he stopped and filled the tank. I paid. Now the party for me was completely paid by myself 😂
ok, all in all the party cost me about €500, which was manageable.

The next morning the party was supposed to start....
