Today i am going to cook one of most favourite traditional receipe called biryani, i have nargsi kofta biryani, hope you will like it.
Nargsi kofta making
Ingredients | Quantity |
---|---|
Split chickpea lentils | 1 cup |
Onion | 1 |
Tomato | 1 |
Garlic | few cloves |
Green chillies | 2 to 3 |
Salt | as required |
Egg | 3 |
Red chilli flakes | 1tablespoon |
Turmeric | 3/4 teaspoon |
Beef mince | 250 grams |
How to make
- Soaked split chickpea lentils for 30 minutes in water.
- Take pressure cooker, added lentils, mince, spices chopped onion, tomato, and one glass water.
- When whistle start boiled for 20 minutes.
As i cheked its done, if it has some water dried it properly.
Boiled the egg. Let it cool. Now, grind kofta mixture very well, take two spoon mixture and wrapped it around the egg, there should be no crack.
Make 8 to 10 kofta. Keep in refrigerator for 40 mintutes.
- Added oil in pan, beat an egg and dipped kofta in egg, fried it till color changed to golden.
- Naegsi kofta are ready.
Rice boiling
Take a pan added water and when boiled put 500 gram soaked rice.
Added one tablespoon salt in it. Boiled it until 90 percent done.
Gravy making

Green chillies | 3 to 4 |
Salt | as required |
Bryani masala | 2 tablesppon |
Red chillies | 1/2 tablespoon |
Oil | 2 tablespoon |
Orange color | pinch |
Potato | 2 booiled it. |
How to make
- Take a pan added oil and chopped onion in it. Fry it till changed into golden.
- Added chopped onion and all spices. Soft and fry it till done. Added boiled potatoes in it.
- Gravy done.
Layering of kofta boryani
- Take out half gravy, added rice, then added gravy and remaining rice.
- Mixed orange color in water or milk. Added few drops in rice layer.
- Covered and put on lower flame for 15 minutes.
- Its done dished out rice kept kofta and served it.
