Hello friends of the steemit block chain, I am very happy for this contest. This contest is going to help us know other different local foods we didn't know or have never seen or even eaten.
My post here is about a very delicious local delicacy in my area, Navrongo. It is a meal that is highly petronised by the all the natives. The name of this food is "Tubani".
INGREDIENTS
- Powdered beans
- Salt Pitter
- Salt
- Stew
- Onions
Tubani is a very special, delicious, and highly endowed with protein. It is made from beans that has been grounded into powder.
Below are the procedures in preparing it:
- Firstly, the powdered beans is kept in a bowl and salt Pitter is then added in a reasonable amount.
- Water is the next thing that follows, water in a reasonable amount is also added and the mixture thoroughly stirred to make it mix well.
- The mixture is then put into rubbers and the mouth tied to prevent the water from getting inside.
- They are then put into rubbers and gently put into a sauce pan which is with water and on a source of heat and tightly covered.
- It is then allowed to stand on the fire for about 10 minutes, where it is the solidified and ready for consumption.
- It's then removed from the fire and the food is also removed from the rubber.
- It is then kept on a plate and sliced into small pieces using a knife and the stew is added including chopped onions.
- It is then okay, served and ready to be eaten
