Hello friends. Today is the first day of Eid ul-Fitr in Turkey. Holidays in Turkey are welcomed differently in each region. In My Memleketim Gazinatep, on the other hand, "Rounding", known as a feast, is made. It is also cooked instead of breakfast. Since I could not visit my hometown this year due to the pandemic, I wanted to continue this tradition in my home.
It took me a lot of time because it was a bit of a tough meal but the result is worth it.
I wanted to share with you while cooking a traditional meal. It made me very happy that my festive dinner coincided with such a meaningful competition.

Yes, now let's move on to the recipe of the dish. First of all, let's start by making their meatballs.
Necessary ingredients for meatballs
• 1 kilo of rice
• 1 egg
• 700 grams of lean ground beef
• 1 and a half glass of semolina
• 2 tablespoons of salt
• 1 tablespoon of black pepper
We wash the rice the night before. We take a strainer and cover it with a damp cloth and wait until the water comes out until morning, and at the same time, our rice is broken and easy to shrink.
We mix all the ingredients as in the photo. We shoot 3 times with a meat machine.
The dough is ready, now we will shape it.
As seen in the photo, we take small pieces from the dough and pour it into tiny pieces. We roll it in our palms.
According to the width of the strainer, we boil the water in a saucepan, add a spoonful of salt, put a strainer on it and cook the meatballs until the color darkens and hardens.
We take the cooked meatballs to cool on a tray. You can take the chilled meatballs as much as we use, pack the rest and store them in the freezer.
Now let's cook the meat and chickpeas that we will use in our food.
Materials
• Half a kilo of chickpeas
• Half a kilo of beef cubed
• 2 dessert spoons of salt
• Drinking water
I did a little too much to put the remaining chickpeas in the freezer. You can change the amount as you wish.
We soak the chickpeas in salted water the night before. We take the wet chickpeas in the pressure cooker, take the meats we wash on it, add water and salt and put it on the stove.
When the chickpeas boil, we remove the foams on it. We close the pan. After the pot makes a noise, we cook for 40 minutes.
We take the cooked meat and chickpeas into another pot as much as we will use.
After the remaining chickpeas have cooled, you can pack them and put them in the freezer.
We add roll on the chickpeas as in the photo. We take it to the stove and let it boil.
While Chickpea and Rounding is boiling we are cooking yogurt in another pot.
Necessary Ingredients for Yogurt
• Half a kilo of strained yogurt
• 1 egg
• 1 dessert spoon of flour
• 1 tablespoon of oil
We take the yogurt into the pot, put the flour, egg and oil on it, take it on the stove and mix it until it boils without stopping. As I show in the video below, we add boiling yogurt to our meal. We sprinkle black pepper on it.
We prepare a sauce with oil and dried mint on it.
