Unique Find in Nature

Hello wonderful people. At the end of all things, this only things that will remain and we will hold on to are memories. Though it might seem intangible, but it is very significant.

Thus, I am grateful to the leaders of this community for always giving us the opportunity to revisit our memory lanes by bringing up great contests like this one. Great job guys.

Very few things if any at all, can compete in terms of beauty to natural things. The world as it was made has so many artistic and beautiful scenery for us to revel in.

There is the glowing and sparkling sky decorated by the awesome sun. There is the lush and ravishing green of trees and plants covering the earth's surface. There are just too many natural features that adorn our world.

In this light, we can never run out of items and places that catch our fancy and tickle our artistic eyes. You would even unconsciously fall in love with nature if you have the patience and opportunity to view closely the beauties of nature.

Since I usually jump at the opportunity to visit new places, I always get to explore any new spot I find myself. So, I was able to discover a very interesting place in one of my short trips across Nigeria. Somewhere in the eastern region, Arochukwu in Abia State precisely, I found my self rampaging the village in exploration.

In my quest to find some excitement, I was awed when I walk down what seemed to be a never ending slope skipping and manoeuvring both small and large stones in an attempt to find water.

The hilly way

Walking down, though enjoying the tour, I was kept busy pondering how the people of this community survived down this steep slope daily to get water.

So many hurdles and inhibitions on the way. Everything in their natural state.

The descent was not a very funny one. At some point, we had to grab one of the guys that was us, who got tripped and was almost rolling down the slope.

Can you spot the large stones

Finally, I was able to get to the foot of the valley. I have to tell you that I was amazed at the sight that I met.

I finally drank the water

A cold, fresh, clean and clear body was of water that was there. I could not help but gulp down a significant quantity of the water. The temptation to drink it was just too strong and in some way, the water was quite refreshing and energizing.

Here is the pipe to channel the water

The people of the community were quite knowledgeable enough to use a pipe to channel the water to a particular point.

Evidently, the water came from the rocks. I took out time to have some fun and take some shots. People were not allowed to bath here as the water was mostly used for drinking and eating purposes. The surrounding trees and green plants gave the area a very lively look.

The was lush vegetation all around the place.

Well, since I would not stay here l day, which I would have really loved to, I and my friend moved out. You can already imagine what this was like. Truly, exhausting is not perfect enough to explain how torrid climbing up these steps was. Thankfully, we were able to reach the top. I did not really mind the horror of scaling this hills because of the fun I was getting from the whole experience.

So, this spot I found really got me intrigued. I totally enjoyed every bit of it and plan to someday in future, revisit this great place.
