Active maintenance for Steem Keychain!

A few months ago I was forced to change hardware and reinstall all my usual software. One of the unpleasant surprises was that the Steem Keychain plugin had disappeared from the Chrome extension shop. When I checked the original GitHub repository of the project and found that it hadn't been updated since 2020, I realised that it had been abandoned by its creators.

Steem Keychain is a great tool and as a Steem user I was very sorry to lose it. But as a community Witness I set out to bring it back.

I think it is important for the community to bring back a tool like this. That's why I have accepted the challenge to bring it back and update it so that it can be operational and available for the whole community as soon as I can.

One of the main challenges will be to recover all the collateral services it used to use, such as the witnesses list, necessary for users to be able to vote from the plugin interface. That list has already been recovered and can be consulted at the URL: https://3dkrender.com/witnesses_rank which is updated every few seconds.

I will be posting the updates on my GitHub so that anyone can make use of the plugin, although for now it will have to be as a "tool under development", as I will not publish it in the plugin shop until it is more up to date.
