Plagiarism is the act of taking someone's ideas and presenting them as your own. It's extremely unethical, however, the concept of plagiarism extends far beyond just writing and copying.
People have been copying each other's work for rewards. The problem is that now internet makes it much easier to do so and go undetected. Essentially, if you're on the internet you're likely to find someone who has copied your work and presented it as theirs. It's really a bad work.
What is plagiarism? In its simplest form, plagiarism is taking someone else's work and presenting it as your own. This can take many forms, including story, partiality and even direct copy/paste of someone else's ideas.
