Acting Regent of Bireuen officially closed the 37th MTQ at Bireuen Regency Level in 2024.

Acting Regent of Bireuen, Jalaluddin, S.H., M.M officially closed the 37th Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an (MTQ) at Bireuen Regency Level in 2024.

In his remarks, he said that the Bireuen Regency Government (Pemkab) expressed its gratitude and appreciation to all parties for all their participation in helping to implement the 37th MTQ at Bireuen Regency Level in 2024.

"So that it can run successfully according to expectations and without significant obstacles," he said.

It is hoped that the implementation of this Musabaqah will not only be seen from the technical aspects of its implementation. But also the process of instilling values ​​in it which are guidelines for life in order to achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter.

MTQ is an activity that is not only a place to assess the ability to read and memorize the Qur'an, but also a momentum to inspire enthusiasm in fostering a generation that has noble morals and loves the Qur'an as a guide to life.

"MTQ is not just a competition, but more than that, MTQ is a long process in forming the character of the nation based on Qur'anic values," he said.

Through this MTQ, he hopes to produce a Qur'anic generation that is not only proficient in recitation and memorization, but also has a noble personality, good morals, and always upholds Islamic law in every step of their lives.

Jalaluddin appreciated and thanked all parties who had participated in making the implementation of the 37th MTQ of Bireuen Regency in 2024 a success.

"Especially to the committee, the panel of judges, and all participants who have shown extraordinary enthusiasm and dedication," said the Acting Regent of Bireuen.

To the winners, he congratulated them on their achievements, hopefully this success can be a motivation to continue to improve their quality and continue to spread goodness in society.

For those who have not succeeded in becoming champions, do not lose your enthusiasm to achieve achievements.

"Remember, never give up trying," he said.

Everyone has a great responsibility to work together to develop Quranic people in Bireuen, who are not only fluent in reading the Quran, but also internalize the meaning and practice its teachings in everyday life.

Systematically and continuously, we must strive to make Bireuen a model region that upholds Islamic law in real terms in social, cultural, economic, and governmental life.

"Hopefully this MTQ can provide meaning and motivation in improving the quality of the people, especially in efforts to realize Islamic Brotherhood and Human Brotherhood on the foundation of faith and piety to Allah SWT," he concluded.

Previously, the Chairperson of the 37th MTQ Organizing Committee for Bireuen Regency. Dr. H. Jufliwan, S.H., M.M who is also the Head of the Bireuen Islamic Sharia Service expressed his gratitude to all parties who have provided support, both morally and materially.

In the implementation of this year's MTQ, there were various obstacles but they could be resolved well, the main obstacle was the minimal financial support and was very much felt in the implementation of this MTQ.

However, thanks to hard work, sincere work, thorough work, and sincere charity as well as good cooperation, the MTQ was able to take place lively and solemnly for seven days and seven nights of the MTQ implementation.

"We hope that this MTQ activity can be a momentum for all of us in strengthening Islamic brotherhood and improving the quality of the implementation of Islamic Sharia values ​​as a result of the implementation of the MTQ theme, namely Fostering Quranic People Towards Bireuen with Sharia," said Jufliwan.

The series of MTQ activities carried out by the Bireuen Regency Government through the Islamic Sharia Service were carried out for seven days from November 16 to November 22, 2024.

The closing of the MTQ took place at the Great Mosque of Sulthan Jeumpa, Friday, November 22, 2024 evening.

In the 37th Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an at the Bireuen Regency Level, Kota Juang District was crowned the overall champion with a score of 248 points.
